Christine A. Scheller

Christine A. Scheller is a Senior Program Associate in the area of communications at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, where she works on the Dialogue on Ethics, Science, and Religion (DOSER).

An award-winning journalist, Ms. Scheller has specialized in reporting on intersections of religion and public life for such media outlets as Slate, Christianity Today, Urban Faith, The High Calling, On Faith, The Huffington Post, and Jersey Shore Patch. She graduated summa cum laude in journalism and media studies from the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information and is a member of the Religion Newswriters Association.

Her essays have been featured in anthologies like Suffering Redeemed: Stories of Grace in the Midst of Personal Tragedy, and she has made editorial contributions to numerous books, including As They Saw It: A Half-Century of Conversations from The Open Mind.
